His work was nominated twice for PRWeek’s Nonprofit Campaign of the Year, and won honorable mention in the PR News Nonprofit PR Awards.
Prior to joining M Booth & Associates, Tartaglia held senior public relations appointments with the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases and Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. He started his communications career in 1985 with the American Cancer Society, followed by positions with the American Heart Association, United Cerebral Palsy and National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Tartaglia's Bachelor of Arts is from Ramapo College, his Master of Arts is from Montclair State University, and he has completed additional postgraduate coursework at the UMDNJ-Graduate Program in Public Health.
Tartaglia sits on the board of directors of the PRSA Health Academy, initially serving as awards chair and, currently, as vice chair for communications. He serves on the inaugural advisory board of the Quinnipiac University School of Communications, and is a past director and treasurer of the Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing Society of Greater New York.
