Recent Work Tartaglia Communications recently completed the first newsletter of the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM), a new medical specialty board. Knowing the importance of making a good impression right out of the gate, we advised ABAM on how to present its wealth of content, edited all articles, selected and worked closely with a designer to develop concepts that illustrated the vibrancy of the new organization, and coordinated the printing and mailing of the newsletter to ABAM diplomates and other stakeholders. Using our special expertise in health care quality, we have worked with IPRO, Healthcare Quality Strategies, Inc. and other quality-focused organizations on a range of articles for professional and consumer audiences. Most recently, we developed and submitted an article proposal and helped prepare a major article for IPRO, which was published in the May/June 2011 issue of Patient Safety & Quality Healthcare.Donors (and potential donors) are a key audience for the Foundation of UMDNJ’s Outlook newsletter. We have written for Outlook and other Foundation publications, penning concise articles that vividly illustrate the impact of donors’ support, as shown in this issue.
